About Elizabeth Copeland
Enthusiastic and optimistic, Elizabeth relishes harnessing her energy into harmonizing multidisciplinary endeavors with a unique focus on the user, or human, experience. While writing her Master’s thesis on her work creating, installing, and training others on using sand filters for safe drinking water in rural Kenyan communities, Elizabeth simultaneously created her design firm that harnessed the same principles – appropriate technologies, community development, and clear communication – forging a unique and indelible focus on user experience that she has employed throughout her career.
Elizabeth has experience crossing multiple industries, from teaching and food-service positions to engineering firms and SaaS start-ups, and will be bringing this same tenacity, energy, and helpfulness to support both Gozynta partners and team.
Elizabeth lives in Macon, Georgia with her two cats, Jinora and Stevie, who help her pursue an endlessly rotating list of hobbies. Currently, Elizabeth spends her free time cooking, volunteering, and hosting her new podcast for hobbyist gardeners, Starting Seeds.
