Heather Johnson's Journey

Heather Johnson began her career balancing the demands of being a single mom of two while working full-time and pursuing her MBA. Her tenacity and drive have been evident in every step of her career, making her an inspirational figure within the business community. Heather is an accomplished business consultant and senior leader with a passion for driving organizational success through strategic planning and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.

As the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Gozynta, Heather has been instrumental in shaping the company's growth and guiding its mission to create an inclusive environment that celebrates individual strengths. Since co-founding Gozynta in 2018, she has led the company to thrive with a successful marketing plan, a comprehensive knowledge base, and robust support and sales departments. Heather believes in the power of teamwork and has been pivotal in building a diverse and talented team, making gender and racial diversity central to Gozynta's values.

Heather has championed diversity and inclusivity, ensuring inclusive language throughout the organization and proudly achieving significant diversity within the technical staff. Her dedication extends beyond Gozynta as she serves as Vice President of the National Society of IT Service Providers and has been recognized as one of CRN's 2022 and 2024 Women of the Channel. Heather is a sought-after speaker, sharing insights on culture development, sales, marketing, management, and efficient procedures.

Before joining Gozynta, Heather co-organized the President's Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge at the White House, demonstrating her commitment to community service and leadership on a national stage.

Brian Johnson's Transition to CTO

With Heather’s promotion to CEO, Brian Johnson, the former CEO and co-founder of Gozynta, will transition to the role of Chief Technology Officer. Brian’s passion for technology and his extensive expertise make him ideally suited to lead Gozynta’s technological advancements. This strategic shift allows Brian to focus on delivering significant developments across our software platform, further solidifying Gozynta’s position in the market.
